On Wednesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the World Bank’s $20 billion commitment for Pakistan under its inaugural 10-year Country Partnership Framework (CPF).
In a social media post on his X timeline, the prime minister claimed that CPF represented Pakistan’s national priorities as outlined in its Home Grown Economic Transformation Plan, while concentrating on six important areas: inclusive development, clean energy, climate resilience, child nutrition, high-quality education, and private investment.
The prime minister expressed his sincere gratitude to General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, and his colleagues for their tireless efforts to fortify Pakistan’s basis for such revolutionary collaborations.
The World Bank’s faith in Pakistan’s economic potential and resilience is reflected in CPF.
