PM welcomes Syrian President’s appointment

Ahmed Al-Sharaa was greeted by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif upon taking office as President of the Syrian Arab Republic during the transitional period.
He said on the social media site X that he hoped the new leadership will be able to provide peace, prosperity, and advancement to the Syrian people.
