On Tuesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif welcomed Chinese investment in Pakistan and stated that several major bilateral business-to-business agreements between Chinese and Pakistani enterprises signed during his recent visit to China were encouraging signs in this respect.
The prime minister was speaking with Chairman Zhang Bin’s delegation from Hengeng Trading Company. According to a press statement from PM Office Media Wing, Ministers of State for Finance Ali Pervaiz Malik, Minister of National Food Security Rana Tanvir Hussain, and Minister of Economic Affairs Ahad Cheema attended the meeting.
According to the prime minister, Pakistan aims to use China’s agricultural industry expertise and has allocated all available resources to Chinese enterprises.
