PM vows to early completion of TAPI pipeline

Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, has emphasised the value of connectivity and collaboration in the area and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to seeing the TAPI pipeline completed as soon as possible.

Rasit Meredow, the Turkmenistan Minister for Foreign Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, paid him a visit in Islamabad this afternoon.

Shehbaz Sharif also extended an invitation to Turkmen businesses to take advantage of Pakistan’s favourable investment environment, emphasising the unique role played by SIFC in enabling international investors to make investments throughout the nation’s many industries.

Shehbaz Sharif emphasised the importance of frequent interactions between all institutional mechanisms between the two nations and expressed satisfaction with the convening of the third round of bilateral political consultations between Pakistan and Turkmenistan, which was chaired by the two foreign ministers.
