Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, the ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan, paid Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif a courtesy call at the PM House on Friday. The ambassador was greeted by the prime minister, who also wished him well during his stay in Pakistan.
The prime minister praised the cordial and fruitful talks he had with President Emomali Rahmon during his recent visit to Dushanbe earlier this month, expressing gratitude for the warm welcome he had received.
PM Shehbaz Sharif expressed pleasure with the memorandums of understanding (MoUs)/agreements inked during his visit, but stressed that prompt execution and follow-up would assist to further solidify bilateral ties.
He extended his invitation once more to President Rahmon to come to Pakistan on business as soon as possible.
