In order to support national growth, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urged the auto industry on Friday to begin domestic vehicle manufacturing and export a sizable portion of its output.
Speaking to a group of automakers and auto parts producers, the prime minister urged them to adopt the Auto Sector Deletion Policy and integrate into the global value chain.
He informed the team that steps were being taken by the current administration to increase exports from the nation.
The prime minister was informed of the problems facing the car industry by the delegation, which included Amir Allahwala, a representative of the auto components business, and Ali Jamali, the chief executive officer of Toyota Pakistan.
They were grateful to the prime minister for the investment and pro-business policies of the government.
