PM stands firm on tax laws: Rana Sanaullah

On Monday, Rana Sanaullah, the Prime Minister’s Political Affairs Advisor, stated that the Prime Minister has reaffirmed his unshakeable commitment to upholding tax rules.

He claimed that during a recent discussion on the economy and taxes, the prime minister demonstrated his unwavering commitment and gave tough instructions to enforce tax laws.

“The prime minister said that tax laws are designed to address the country’s economic challenges and must be implemented without exception,” he claimed, before stating that “there will be no turning back, even if he has to resign.”

He made it clear that the prime minister’s remarks had nothing to do with the situation of politics at the time and were only about economic and tax concerns. He reaffirmed the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) willingness to communicate despite hardship.
