PM Shehbaz for restoring lost glory in sports

On Monday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif declared that it was imperative to bring back the former splendour of all sports and relive the heyday of the nation’s dominance in cricket and hockey.
Speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony for the up-gradation work at the Gaddafi Stadium here at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) headquarters, he said that the national cricket team should regain its lost stature in international cricket and that it could be accomplished by ensuring merit and proper restructuring of the Men’s cricket team.
In attendance were lawmakers, government employees, PCB officials, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Senior Minister for Punjab Marriyum Aurangzeb, Speaker of the Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
