PM reiterates Pak commitment to promote SCO’s priorities

During his meeting with SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming on Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif underlined Pakistan’s resolve to fully support the organization’s development priorities for the benefit of all of its member states as well as the larger region.

The prime minister emphasised that Pakistan was prepared to collaborate with SCO member states to strengthen and increase the organization’s effectiveness during the meeting that was conducted on the fringes of the 23rd Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Heads of Government (CHG) meeting.

Prime Minister Shehbaz greeted Secretary-General Ming in Islamabad and thanked him for the assistance provided by the SCO Secretariat to Pakistan in organising the SCO CHG Meeting, recalling his previous visit to Pakistan in July 2022.
