PM reaffirms support to Palestine, Lebanon; calls for donations

Reiterating Pakistan’s solidarity with the suffering people of Palestine, Gaza, and Lebanon, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called on his compatriots to make substantial contributions to the government-established relief fund on Friday.

The prime minister urged the populace to support government efforts and, in particular, wealthy individuals to make generous donations to the fund while presiding over a meeting to examine relief efforts for sending aid to Palestine, Gaza, and Lebanon.

He said that in order to help the suffering people of Palestine and Lebanon, both locals and Pakistanis living abroad could send their money to Raast ID: 01111114292 or IBAN: PK11SBPD0000001111114292.

He informed the gathering that in addition to food and medicine, Pakistan would shortly send an additional 12,000 blankets and 3,000 tents to the people of Palestine and Lebanon.
