PM reaffirms strengthening collaboration with IAEA

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to deepening its partnership with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in order to fully utilize nuclear technology for peaceful ends, guaranteeing ongoing advantages for Pakistanis and the international community.
Rafael Mariano Grossi, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), visited the prime minister at PM House as a courtesy.

According to a news statement from the PM Office Media Wing, the discussion covered the peaceful uses of nuclear technology in a number of fields, such as industry, food preservation, agriculture, water management, and cancer diagnosis and treatment.
The IAEA’s efforts to promote nuclear energy as a crucial way to combat climate change were praised by the prime minister.
