On Thursday, Pakistan’s prime minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, reiterated his pledge to assist the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO) in all its endeavours to promote intraregional commerce among member nations and forward the organization’s reform agenda.
He was speaking with Amb. Khusrav Noziri, the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO), as he paid him a visit at the PM House.
He emphasised the importance of “ECO Vision 2025,” which was signed by then-prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif during the 2017 ECO Summit in Islamabad, as a key document for the ECO.
During his tenure, the outgoing Secretary General briefed the Prime Minister on the aims and activities of ECO and his reform agenda aimed at revitalising the organisation.
