In order to maintain both political and financial stability in the nation, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif called on all members of the political leadership to keep supporting the federation in overcoming its economic difficulties on Tuesday.
The prime minister also made a clear connection between the country’s security and peace and the total eradication of terrorism, which has recently reared its head in the southern areas of the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Speaking at a National Action Plan apex committee meeting, the prime minister stated that the nation was headed towards stability through the blessings of Allah Almighty, economic endeavours, and the sincerity of intent displayed by all government stakeholders, from the federation to provincial chief ministers.
He said that without the efforts of all federal and provincial governments, they would not be able to proceed.
According to the prime minister, political and economic stability are interdependent, and without these two essential components, no society can hope to advance.
He went on to say that “all the leadership should play their due role for the economic and political stability.”
He added that all of the provincial chief ministers had fully endorsed the IMF program and thanked the provincial governments for their assistance in getting it approved.
According to Prime Minister Sharif, the stock market was on a bullish trend and inflation had dropped to a single digit as a result of his efforts.
