PM raises voice against Israel’s genocide against Palestinians

The international community should fulfil its duty of guaranteeing an unconditional and quick ceasefire that leads to the creation of an independent state of Palestine, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urged the leaders of the SCO countries on Wednesday.

“Let me state that we cannot overlook the genocide that is still taking place in Gaza. At the 23rd meeting of the Council of the Heads of Government (CHG) of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), which he chaired, the prime minister concluded by saying, “The international community bears the responsibility of ensuring an immediate and unconditional ceasefire leading to the establishment of State of Palestine on the basis of pre-1967 borders with Al Quds as its capital.”
