On the eve of Eid-ul-Adha, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif spoke over the phone with President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Sunday.

The two presidents discussed recent advancements in bilateral relations over the phone, particularly in the areas of trade, defence, and energy.
They decided to keep up their close collaboration in order to fortify bilateral ties and match the political goodwill that already existed between the two nations, expressing pleasure with the favourable trajectory of relations.
