The Upper House of Parliament has been urged by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to actively contribute to both provincial harmony and national unity.
In Islamabad today [Wednesday], he was speaking with Senator Irfan Siddiqui, the chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) legislative party.
For this reason, the Prime Minister stated that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) parliamentary group should continue to have close relations with every other party in the House.
He claimed that in the modern period, the significance of having a solid foreign policy has grown significantly.
Prime Minister expressed hope that the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs under chairmanship of Senator Irfan Siddiqui would guide the government by playing role of think tank.
