PM praises Naqvi for his role in securing consensus

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a phone call from Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi congratulating him on the 26th Constitutional Amendment’s successful approval.

The prime minister commended Naqvi’s efforts and his commitment to fostering agreement between the opposition and the administration on the issue.

“Naqvi played a vital role in bringing the government and opposition together and resolving differences,” PM Shehbaz said, emphasising the arduous efforts of Mohsin Naqvi to ensure the amendment passed with agreement from all parties.

On Monday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Prabowo Subianto on becoming Indonesia’s ninth president.

The prime minister claimed on X that Indonesia and Pakistan have had close connections based on respect and common principles.
