ISLAMABAD: On Friday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued specific directives to ensure an uninterrupted electricity supply during the Ramazan hours of Sehr and Iftar. In a meeting with Hafiz Nauman, the chairman of Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), the prime minister gave the order. The action will make it easier for those who are fasting during the holy month.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, meanwhile, congratulated China’s President Xi Jinping on winning a third term in office on Friday. In a greeting on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, the Prime Minister said that President Xi Jinping’s support from the Chinese people and parliament was a testament to his exceptional leadership abilities.
President Xi Jinping was voted unanimously by the People National People’s Congress (NPC), as the President of China for the next five years.
Shehbaz Sharif said, “President Xi Jinping has become a symbol of China’s development and people’s prosperity. Under his leadership, China has become the world’s top economic power and this journey continues.”
The prime minister said under the visionary leadership of President Xi Jinping, China was making remarkable achievements in every sphere, including education, health, agriculture, innovation, and technology.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed the hope that the tried and tested evergreen strategic cooperation between the two countries would be further strengthened during the next five-year term of President Xi Jinping.
The prime minister extended extends his best wishes to President Xi Jinping, and the government and people of China.
Moreover, Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani on Friday extended warm congratulations to President Xi Jinping on being elected as the President of China for the third time.
The Chairman Senate, on behalf of the Parliament and the people of Pakistan, congratulated President Xi Jinping on his re-election as the leader of China, said a news release.
The confidence of the Chinese people and parliament in President Xi Jinping is a recognition of his extraordinary leadership skills.
