Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the nation today as his government completes its first 100 days in office.
The premier is scheduled to take the nation into confidence during his address at Convention Centre, Islamabad on Thursday afternoon, where a ceremony will be held to mark the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) 100 days in power.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, who will be the chief guest on the occasion, will review the performance of his government since it was voted into power in the July 28 election. He is also set to make some important announcements.
The ceremony will be attended by all federal ministers, advisers and PTI workers.
Earlier this week, the premier called an important meeting at his Bani Gala residence to review his ‘100-day plan’, where PTI ministers, divisions and ministries presented their reports related to the 100-day performance.
The meeting was called as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government completes the first 100-days in power.
According to reports, senior members of the party, federal ministers, advisers and special assistants have been called by the premier.
The ministries and divisions have been directed to present reports on progress in the 100-day plan, reports suggest.
According to sources, the targets that have been met will be finalised in the meeting.
“The attendees will also be briefed on governance, the austerity campaign and decisions undertaken by the cabinet. The premier will also be apprised regarding the performances of advisers,” sources continued.
“A briefing will also be given on the performance of federal ministries, including communication, information, housing, railways, law, environmental change and privatisation.”
