The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned caretaker prime minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar to appear in person on November 29 in connection with a lawsuit involving the missing Baloch students. The government’s inability to locate missing kids prompted the court to issue its orders, which were made public today during the hearing on the enforcement of the commission’s findings. On the issue, advocate Imaan Mazari had moved the IHC. Following this, the court mandated that the government produce the 55 students who went missing, following the recommendations made by the Baloch Enforced Disappearance Commission. Along with calling for a report from the federal government committee within a week, the court has also summoned the secretaries of both ministries and the ministers of defence and interior.
