PM invites Chinese firms to establish textile industry in Pakistan

On Tuesday, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended an invitation to Chinese businesses, especially those in the textile industry, to establish their operations in Pakistan, promising complete government support.

China is an important partner for Pakistan’s growth, according to the prime minister, who was presiding over a meeting to discuss promoting collaboration between Pakistan and China. In addition to increasing its exports to China, Pakistan wants to deepen its cooperation with China in the fields of energy, information technology, and agriculture.

According to a press release from the PM Office, various ministries discussed ideas they had for advancing the economic ties between China and Pakistan during the discussion.

The prime minister restated that since a thorough security strategy had already been developed, the government would guarantee Chinese nationals working in Pakistan impenetrable security.
