ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan telephoned Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Thursday and shared his condolences on the death of Prince Bandar bin Abdul Aziz, the elder brother of King Salman.
During the telephonic conversation, the premier thanked the Saudi crown prince for his efforts and support to Pakistan and its interests, and emphasised that the relations with Saudi Arabia remain a top priority of his country, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.
Calling Saudi Arabia a friend that Pakistan trusts, Prime Minister Imran added that his country cannot forget Saudi Arabia’s constant support in any adversity.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman lauded the efforts of the two countries to strengthen ties in diverse fields, and expressed the keenness of the Saudi leadership to continue supporting Pakistan in all fields.
