PM Imran hits back at ‘colonised minds’ criticising his chicken policy

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday slammed the “colonised minds” who are criticising his chicken and egg policy.

On his official Twitter handle, the premier wrote: “For the colonised minds when desis talk about chickens combating poverty they get mocked, but when “walaitis” talk about desi chicken and poverty it’s brilliance!”

He was talking about the criticism he faced over his new policy of giving chickens and eggs to poor women in rural areas so that they can establish their small businesses. The same idea was discussed by Microsoft founder Bill Gates in 2016 but no body targeted his statement.
