PM hopeful of “wonderful outcomes” of 23rd SCO CHG meeting

The 23rd meeting of the Council of the Heads of Government (CHG) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member states is expected to produce fantastic results for the benefit of regional economies and the uplift of its citizens, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Wednesday.

In his introductory remarks as the Council’s current chair, the Prime Minister greeted the visitors to Islamabad and emphasised that the summit reflected the goals and voices of almost 40% of the global population.

The SCO leaders’ attendance, he added, also showed their shared commitment to advancing collaboration, sustainable growth, and regional prosperity.
