Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani both harshly denounced Friday’s bombing at a girls’ high school in the Mastung district of Balochistan that killed three youngsters and a police officer.

They offered their condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for them to have the strength to cope with the loss in their separately released remarks, which also expressed their sorrow over the deaths of children and a police officer.

The prime minister and acting president both reaffirmed their commitment to taking ongoing action against terrorism until it is completely eradicated.

“Humanity’s foes are the terrorists. “The entire country is united in its support of law enforcement and security forces in their fight against terrorists,” Gilani stated.

“The attack on a school is the manifestation of terrorists’ animosity to education in Balochistan. Such cowardly acts can neither undermine the nation’s morale nor that of Balochistan’s government to promote education and development. The whole nation feels proud of its policemen and soldiers for their sacrifices to safeguard the country,” the prime minister remarked.
