PM for joint efforts to enhance Pak-France cooperation

Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, emphasised on Wednesday the importance of collaborating to strengthen ties between his country and France, especially in the commercial and investment sectors.

During a courtesy call, the French ambassador to Islamabad, Nicolas Galey, met with the prime minister and extended an invitation to French businesses to invest in Pakistan.

He applauded the French side’s initiative to arrange a quick visit to Pakistan by business executives from leading French companies.

Along with SAPM Tariq Fatemi and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, the prime minister also stated that the government’s first priority was economic stabilisation.

A letter of congratulations from the French PM was given to PM Shehbaz by the ambassador.
