On Monday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting investment in the nation and highlighted initiatives to foster an atmosphere that is conducive to trade and investment.
He said this while presiding over a meeting at PM House that was aimed at improving federal ministries’ ability to invest and run.
The Prime Minister gave the go-ahead for the creation of a steering committee at the meeting, with himself serving as its chairman, to oversee development in these sectors. The objective of this endeavour is to optimise endeavours and guarantee the efficacious execution of strategies intended to promote economic expansion.
During the meeting, it was announced that the Public Private Partnership Authority had hired Kearney, a well-known consulting firm with extensive experience throughout the world, especially in the Middle East.
