PM expresses deep grief over loss of lives in terrorist attack in Muscat

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his sincere sorrow for the terrorist incident that took place on Imam Bargah Ali bin Abu Talib in Muscat, Oman, which claimed the lives of numerous people, including four citizens of Pakistan.

The prime minister wrote, “My heart goes out to the families of the victims,” in a post on X. I have given the Pakistani Embassy in Muscat instructions to visit the hospitals personally and offer any support that they can to the injured.

He went on to say that Pakistan supported the Sultanate of Oman and extended its complete cooperation to the inquiry.
Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the foreign minister and deputy prime minister, tweeted his condolences on Tuesday for the shahadat of Pakistanis in the terrorist attack on Imam Bargah Ali bin Abu Talib.
