PM directs Law Ministry to amicably resolve Madaris registration issue

The Ministry of Law and Justice was instructed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday to settle the Madaris registration dispute peacefully in accordance with the law and the constitution.

When Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), visited the prime minister on Friday, the topic was discussed. The meeting was promising because of the recommendations Maulana Fazlur Rehman made regarding madaris registration.

The law ministry was instructed by PM Shehbaz Sharif to find a quick solution.

The conference was also attended by Senator Kamran Murtaza, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, a member of the National Assembly, and Qamar Zaman Kaira, a senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party.
