Perpetrators of Besham attack will be brought to justice swiftly: PM

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered a comprehensive cooperative inquiry into the terrorist attack on Chinese people, using all available state resources, .
As the head of an emergency meeting in Islamabad today, he issued these directives in response to the terrorist attack in Besham on Chinese nationals employed on the Dassu Hydel Power Project.
The Federal Ministers, Chief Secretaries, Chief Ministers, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, and Inspectors General of Police from the individual provinces were present at the meeting. The meeting’s participants talked about the horrific assault on defenceless bystanders engaged in a development project aimed at bolstering Pakistan’s water and energy security.
The relatives of the innocent attack victims received the prime minister’s sincere condolences.
