Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister, stated on Sunday that while Pakistan was still dedicated to fostering peace in South Asia and aimed to build positive relationships with all of its neighbours, a fair and peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir conflict that complied with UNSC resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people was necessary to achieve long-term peace in the region.
On the occasion of Kashmir Black Day, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister declared, “Pakistan stands in unwavering solidarity with the Kashmiri people in their struggle and will continue to provide its full political, moral, and diplomatic support to the realisation of their inalienable right to self-determination.”
He claimed that October 27th was a tragic turning point in Jammu and Kashmir’s history.
