Pakistan’s biggest challenge is to increase foreign exchange reserves: Minister Ahsan Iqbal

The first meeting of the steering committee on the 5Es framework, which is necessary for the successful implementation of the multi-pronged strategy to turn around Pakistan and place it on a sustained economic trajectory, was presided over by Professor Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, on Wednesday.

According to a news release, the Committee resolved to host a one-day “consultative workshop” following Eid-ul-Fitr, when officials from all the ministries and pertinent stakeholders would be invited to participate in discussions about how to execute the framework.

Senior representatives from both federal and provincial ministries and divisions were among those present at the conference.
