Senate Chairman Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said Wednesday that he was hopeful the Saudi Shura Council Chairman Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh’s visit will be a turning point in strengthening the two nations’ existing close relations.
In the meeting with the chairman of the Saudi Shura Council, the chairman declared, “This visit marks a new chapter in the longstanding relationship between the two nations.”
Gilani greeted Dr. Al-Sheikh and his delegation with great warmth and called the chairman of the Saudi Shura Council a “true friend” of Pakistan.
“Institutional relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have entered a new era, and leadership of Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been great source of support for Pakistan at every stage,” Gilani stated.
