Baku: Pakistan and Turkey have committed to further advancing and deepening their multifaceted partnership. The decision was made at a meeting between the Turkish and Azerbaijani foreign ministers that took place today in conjunction with the 27th ECO-COM. They discussed all aspects of the strategic relationship during their discussion and decided to keep the bilateral ties moving in the right direction. The foreign ministers of Pakistan and Turkey reiterated their unwavering support for one another on all fundamental issues, especially those related to trade, investment, defence, culture, agriculture, and science and technology. On Wednesday in Azerbaijan, foreign minister Jalil Abbas Jilani met privately with his Uzbek colleague. The gathering was held concurrently with the 27th ECO-COM. Views were discussed throughout the discussion regarding issues of common interest.
