Pakistan striving to strengthen health system

ISLAMABAD: Acting Federal Minister for Health Dr. Nadeem Jan stated on Tuesday that Pakistan’s government is successfully carrying out its reform plan to boost the nation’s healthcare sector. He was speaking to the 22-nation highest regional health conference, the 70th meeting of the WHO Regional Committee in Cairo. According to Dr. Nadeem Jan, ‘Health for All by All’ is everyone’s concern because it affects local communities, governments, civil society, development partners, the private sector, academia, and health professionals. “We must all work hand-in-hand with a belief that strong health systems will protect everyone.”
