Pakistan reaffirms desire to enhance partnership with ASEAN

In his pursuit of a peaceful, stable, and prosperous region, Pakistan wants to strengthen its collaboration with the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), according to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, who made this statement on Thursday.

In his statement on ASEAN Day, the Deputy PM remarked, “Let us take this opportunity to reflect on our shared achievement and renew our commitment to the principles that guide ASEAN’s Mission.”

He declared that Pakistan was committed to supporting the goals of ASEAN and looked forward to helping it continue to succeed.

He congratulated Secretary General Dr. Kao Kim Hourn on the occasion for his outstanding leadership and unceasing efforts to further the ASEAN agenda.
