On Friday, the people of Pakistan marked a day of mourning to show support for their Palestinian counterparts and to denounce the continued violence committed by Israel.
The decision was made during a consultative conference of government-allied parties that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired in Islamabad to address the worsening circumstances in Palestine.
It was also stated in a joint statement that the funeral prayer in absentia for Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’ Political Bureau, who was killed in Tehran on Wednesday, will be held following Friday prayers throughout.
It was also determined at the meeting to introduce a resolution in the Parliament expressing complete support for the Palestinian people.
