In an effort to strengthen their economic ties, Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan acknowledged on Wednesday that there is a great deal of room to grow their present $8.63 million in trade.
On the fringes of the SCO Summit, Kyrgyz Finance Minister Daniiar Amangeldiev and his entourage met with Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Cheema to examine ways to improve bilateral commerce.
In the fiscal year 2022–2023, Pakistan’s imports from Kyrgyzstan totalled US$5.3 million, while its exports to the Central Asian country totalled US# 3.33 million.
Cheema emphasised the need to improve these numbers and solve the current trade imbalance while vowing to increase commerce between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan on the occasion.
