According to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are attempting to deepen their relationship in order to establish mutually advantageous investment and economic cooperation.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed delight with the execution of recently signed bilateral Memorandums of Understanding for Saudi investment in Pakistan totalling $2.8 billion, while highlighting the importance of collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan in various fields.
According to a press release from the PM Office, the Saudi Deputy Interior Minister, who is currently on an official visit to Pakistan, paid Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif a courtesy call during which the two countries addressed their bilateral ties.
The prime minister commended the Saudi government and leadership for their unwavering support of Pakistan, citing the two nations’ longstanding and friendly relationship.
