Pakistan and Japan on Monday pledged to enhance trade relations and collaboration during a meeting between Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and Ambassador WADA Mitsuhiro. The meeting’s goal was to discuss ways to strengthen mutual trust and trade relations between Japan and Pakistan.
WADA Ambassador Mitsuhiro welcomed Minister Jam Kamal Khan on his new appointment to the position at the meeting and pledged to strengthen bilateral relations.
Notably, in an effort to foster economic relations, the ambassador invited businesspeople from Pakistan to take part in World Expo 2025, which is set to take place in Osaka, Japan, in 2025.
Despite the optimism, Ambassador WADA Mitsuhiro highlighted the difficulties the Japanese business community has in imports.
