Pakistan is center of Kashmiris’ hopes: AJK PM

Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq, has stated that July 19 holds particular significance in the history of Kashmir’s freedom movement, even if he describes Pakistan as the source of Kashmiris’ hopes.

In a message released on the occasion of Kashmir’s accession day to Pakistan being marked today (Friday), he stated, “It was on this day in 1947 when Kashmiri leadership decided to align their destiny with Pakistan”.

The PM stated that the celebration of the day on both sides of the Line of Control reflected the unwavering affection and faith of Kashmiris in Pakistan.

He declared, “Our real heroes are those who sacrificed their lives for this ideology,” adding that all Kashmiris have a deep affection for Pakistan.
