Pakistan, Iran FMs discuss Syria situation

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the foreign minister of Iran, spoke with Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister.

According to a news release from the Foreign Office, the discussion covered regional issues, especially the Syrian situation, as well as bilateral collaboration between Pakistan and Iran.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, meanwhile, reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of all people, regardless of race, religion, gender, or nationality, as the world commemorates International Human Rights Day on Tuesday.

In his statement, the deputy prime minister claimed that the Day represented the global community’s commitment to promoting the human rights agenda without bias or prejudice and to respecting and upholding human dignity.
