Pakistan has great investment opportunities: President Zardari

At a ceremony on Monday at Aiwan-e-Sadr, President Asif Ali Zardari received diplomatic credentials from the envoys of seven nations: Zimbabwe, Tajikistan, Rwanda, Argentina, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Botswana.

Titus Mehliswa Jonathan Abu-Basutu, the ambassador-designate of Zimbabwe; Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, the ambassador-designate of Tajikistan; Ms. Harerimana Fatou, the ambassador-designate of Rwanda; Sebastian Sayus, the ambassador-designate of Argentina; Wunna Han, the ambassador-designate of Myanmar; Sok Chea, the ambassador-designate of Cambodia; and Dr. Batlang Comma Serema, the ambassador-designate of Botswana, presented the President with their credentials.

The envoys and the President later had separate sessions.

The President told the envoys that Pakistan offered excellent business possibilities and that other nations ought to take advantage of its conducive economic climate.

 

He highlighted that foreign investors should explore investment opportunities in Pakistan’s agriculture, livestock, Information Technology, energy and mining sectors.
