Today in Islamabad, Khalil Hashmi, Pakistan’s recently appointed ambassador to China, paid a visit to Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the acting prime minister. Upon taking office, the Prime Minister wished Ambassador Khalil Hashmi all the best. The Prime Minister gave Ambassador Khalil Hashmi advice on relations between China and Pakistan. According to the prime minister, Pakistan is committed to strengthening its bonds of brotherhood with China. He asked the recently appointed ambassador to contribute to improving relations between Pakistan and China. In the meantime, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the acting prime minister, emphasised on Tuesday the importance of integrating climate resilience and climate finance into all of Balochistan’s water projects and restated that the government’s top priority were the province’s residents’ prosperity and advancement.
A review meeting on the significant issues concerning the province of Balochistan was presided over by the acting prime minister. According to a press release from the PM Office Media Wing, the meeting was attended by Caretaker Federal Minister for Planning Sami Saeed, Caretaker Federal Minister for Law and Water Resources Irfan Aslam, and other pertinent senior officials. Caretaker Balochistan Chief Minister Ali Mardan Domki, Education Minister Dr. Qadir Baloch, and Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir were also present. The chief secretary briefed the audience on the various province projects. The prime minister also ordered the construction of a two-lane highway from Khuzdar to Karachi to proceed as quickly as possible, noting that in addition to increasing connections, this project would give the various regions of the nation alternate latitude.
