Pakistan wants to have peaceful relations with all nations, including its neighbours, according to the Foreign Office.
In response to questions from reporters about Pakistan’s relations with India following the election of a new government, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated that Pakistan has continuously supported constructive dialogue and engagement to address all outstanding issues, including the central dispute of Jammu and Kashmir.
She did, however, claim that the measures taken by India on August 5, 2019, in unlawfully seized Jammu and Kashmir, had damaged the bilateral relationship. According to the spokesperson, Pakistan seeks stability and peace in the area and believes in peaceful coexistence.
She claimed that despite the challenges and bluster from India, Pakistan has been operating responsibly.
