In order to strengthen economic ties and investigate potential avenues for trade, business, and investment, Chinese Vice Minister Li Fei and Minister for business and Industry Dr. Gohar Ejaz met. The second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which is now underway, was the topic of discussion between the two ministers. They declared their intention to evaluate the China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement and put the findings of the joint study carried out by the two countries’ commerce ministries into practice in order to continue working to improve bilateral trade and investment. He underlined Pakistan’s commitment to offering facilitation and a favourable economic climate. Additionally, Dr. Gohar Ejaz emphasised government initiatives to support foreign direct investment.
