Pakistan confers Hilal-i-Pakistan on Madinah’s governor

The governor of Madinah Munawarah, Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, received the civic honour Hilal-i-Pakistan on Wednesday from the Pakistani government. Prince Faisal has received this award in appreciation of his  exceptional services to Pakistan. Ahmad Farooq, Pakistan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, gave Prince Faisal the honour during a ceremony held at the Governor’s Office  in Madinah. Speaking at the event, Ambassador Ahmad stated that the award  was a testament to the close ties of brotherhood that exist between  Saudi Arabia and Pakistan as well as their ongoing collaboration in  areas of shared interest. He claimed that the Saudi royal family and the guardians of the  holy mosques were highly revered by the people of Pakistan.
