Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Chinese Ambassador to Islamabad Jiang Zaidong on Tuesday. During their meeting, both men reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their strategic cooperation and advancing bilateral relations to new heights.
According to a news release from the Foreign Office, they reaffirmed the Pak-China All-Weather Strategic Partnership during the meeting, which was a pillar of the two countries’ bilateral ties.
After reviewing CPEC 2.0’s progress, they referred to it as a major initiative that aims to improve regional connectivity and economic cooperation.
Ambassador Jiang invited DPM Dar to the High-Level UN Security Council Event “Practicing Multilateralism, Reforming and Improving Global Governance,” which China is hosting, on behalf of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
