Pakistan-China discuss economic cooperation through BRI

In their negotiations, China and Pakistan have agreed to expand their bilateral cooperation, give China leading position in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), and support Pakistan’s economic development. According to press release released here on Friday, Chinese EXIM Bank President Mr. Ren Shengjun and Federal Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Production Dr. Gohar Ejaz met. Ren Shengjun, the President of the EXIM Bank, extended cordial greeting to Dr. Gohar Ejaz, the Federal Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Production, on his visit to Shanghai. The conference was opened by President Mr. Ren Shengjun, who stated that he hoped Pakistan would become China’s centre of productivity and development and that the timing was right to take advantage of these opportunities.
