Pakistan can join leading economies with youth, women participation: Ahsan

Professor Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, said Thursday that he is confident that with the active involvement of young people, particularly women entrepreneurs, Pakistan might become one of the world’s top economies by 2047.
The growth of young people and female entrepreneurs is directly related to the nation’s development and prosperity. By 2047, they may help Pakistan become one of the world’s leading economies through their active engagement and participation in national development,” he added.
He spoke these things at the National Incubation Centre at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), which is hosting the fifth edition of the Women Entrepreneurship Conference, called “Mumkin Hai” (It is possible).
Panel discussions on coordinating entrepreneurial objectives with Pakistan’s digital economy were part of the conference.
